Buses, cars, trains, ships, and airplanes are some of the greatest contributions of science. With the help of rockets, man can now travel into space. Fast means of transport help us reach distant places in a very short time.

5. Medicine and Surgery

Science has given us wonderful medicines. Many diseases that were once incurable can now be cured. It has lengthened the human lifespan and made us healthier. Diseases like T.B. and cancer can now be controlled or treated effectively.

6. Computers

Scientists have invented computers, which are one of the greatest wonders of all. Computers can do complex calculations and work very quickly. They solve difficult problems in the least amount of time and are used in every field of life.

7. Disadvantages of Science

Everything has two sides, and science has a dark side too. The invention of atom bombs and other dangerous weapons is a threat to the existence of humanity. They can destroy the world in a few seconds. Also, too much dependence on machines has made man lazy and weak. Therefore, we should use science wisely.
